On April 21, the Senate Judiciary Committee, chaired by Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT), held a hearing to consider Internet Privacy issues. Sen Hatch invited the business community to participate in a commission that he would like to set up to study issues related to privacy and technology.
The hearing was presided over by Senators Hatch (R-UT), Leahy (D-VT), Thurmond (R-SC), Feinstein (D-CA), and Schumar (D-NY). The following OPA members testified before the standing-room only crowd.
